How it works
From first note to written action plan
A restrained, document-led process for discussing a German work permit transition after changing jobs.
1. Send a short case outline
Use the contact form to name your current permit type, city of registration, proposed job change, and important dates. Do not attach a passport or residence card. We reply within two business days and confirm whether the matter fits our consultation scope.
2. Receive a secure preparation list
Once a time is agreed, we explain how to prepare the relevant residence and employment documents. Only information needed for the consultation should be shared. You will also receive cancellation terms and the fee confirmation.
3. Meet with the documents in view
The consultation follows your permit wording, employment chronology, and proposed contract. We identify assumptions, discuss authority-facing questions, and put the next steps into a sequence that respects your notice period and intended start.
4. Keep the written note
For the flagship session, a concise action note follows within one business day. It records the facts provided, document categories, unresolved points, and practical order of action. If a legal opinion or representation is needed, the note will say so.
What not to expect
No consultation can reserve an Ausländerbehörde appointment, accelerate public processing, or guarantee approval. The process is designed to improve preparation and communication—not to create certainty where only the authority can decide.
